In connection with Anti-Corruption Day on 9 December, we would like to share the exciting developments happening at Bertling Logistics as we continue to strengthen our commitment to compliance and sustainability. To adapt to the evolving landscape and other frequent changes in legislation we are constantly making improvements to our management systems. And as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of compliance and eliminating corruption, we have a newly upgraded compliance helpline which is set to launch shortly. Accessible via mobile phones through a QR code, this helpline aims to simplify the reporting process for our staff and subcontractors. The expanded scope of reportable subjects now covers a comprehensive range of ESG, financial, and trade compliance topics, including:
- Anti-corruption and bribery
- Trade control/ compliance (imports and exports)
- Anti-money laundering
- Financial Ethics
- Anti-trust and fair competition
- Gifts and entertainment
- Conflicts of interest
- Labour and social standards including respect in the workplace.
- Environmental protection
- Health and safety
- Information protection and insider trading
- Protection of personal data
- Company property (fraud, theft)
- Accurate books and records
To ensure our team remains well-informed, we invite all staff to participate in web-based training packages on regular basis, which cover key changes in ethics, compliance, and sustainability.
We look forward to continued support in our shared commitment to combat corruption and nurture a workplace culture centered around compliance.
