In collaboration with Dubai Municipality, our Bertling Colleagues and family in Dubai participated in a beach cleanup activity called #anhourwiththecleaner.
This is to create a positive environmental impact in our community. The local government coordinator started by giving an orientation on the areas that needed to clean, they also provided us with garbage bags, gloves, and clippers.
After the activity, we all meet up back at our endpoint and gathered all the trash collected for segregation and recycling.
The beach cleanup is a learning opportunity for us to think about the impact of these marine pollutants endangering our coral reef ecosystems. We felt our day was well spent and a good time to remind ourselves of the importance of serving as a good steward of the planet!
