Bertling Singapore recently completed the loading of a successful breakbulk shipment from Ulsan, Korea, to Singapore.
The move included 7 packages consisting of crane and jib extension parts, transported onboard MV PERLES.
POL: Ulsan, Korea
POD: Singapore
Volume: 7 pkgs / 40,710 kgs / 641.031 cbm
Longest Piece: 29 m
Bertling Team: Bertling Singapore
Our scope covered the complete door-to-door logistics solution, including overside receipt by barge from the mother vessel (MV) at Singapore Jurong Port and final delivery to the project yard.
A key challenge was securing the shipment laycan within a very short timeframe while coordinating the transfer of the cargo from the manufacturing facility to the port for temporary storage. This was necessary due to limited storage space at the shipper's yard, requiring the cargo to be moved to the port ahead of the MV's arrival and held there until loading commenced.
The project was completed safely and to the full satisfaction of the client thanks to detailed planning, strong operational coordination, and timely execution.
