Bertling recently completed the port handling and inland transportation of underground mining equipment from Gothenburg, Sweden, to the Manono Mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Working through our South Africa team, the project included nearly 580 CBM of heavy and oversized cargo, with the largest unit measuring 11.5 metres and the heaviest weighing 53 tonnes.

From vessel discharge in Durban to truck loading for the final journey to site, the operation was executed safely and efficiently, demonstrating Bertling's expertise in project logistics and heavy-lift cargo handling.
