June 22 2025, is the World Rainforest Day - a perfect day to support our latest Forest Protection Projects! The day aims to protect, preserve, and conserve the rainforest for future generations. Rainforests provide ecological benefits including supporting a wide variety of plant and animal species, regulating the climate, and supplying essential resources.
The forests are home to an enormous diversity of species that are essential for the processes that support all life on Earth. The rainforests look after us, so we must look after them. Healthy forests mean healthy people!
Rainforests are endangered around the world. Logging, mining, and agriculture are the main reasons they are declining. Nearly 20 percent of the Amazon rainforest has been destroyed in the past 50 years. As we lose rainforest land, we lose many plants and animals that benefit our atmosphere and society. This is why we continue to support the important work of PLANT-MY-TREE®.
Back in 2022, we participated in the country’s largest tree-planting event, planting trees in Itzehoe, near Hamburg. This year, in 2025, we’re excited to return to this beautiful area to continue supporting reforestation efforts and planting more trees.
Together with PLANT-MY-TREE®, we’re proud to have donated 250 trees to support reforestation in Northern Germany.
