As part of our Sustainability KPI for March, all our offices are fully focused on reporting their respective offices’ annual carbon footprints.
Every year, we measure our business carbon footprint and benchmark ourselves against our sustainability goals to assess whether we are aligned and on track with our ambitions.
One of our sustainability goals is to decrease our carbon footprint across the group by 5% each year, and one of our long-term goals is to become fully carbon neutral in 2030. Those goals are challenging, but we are progressing towards them by taking small steps every year such as switching to green electricity, transitioning to electric company vehicles, developing better recycling practices, and commuting more sustainably.
As we say in business, “What gets measured gets managed,” and therefore carbon footprint reporting is of high importance for everyone, and a key tool for improving and progressing on our own sustainability journey at Bertling Logistics.
We thank all our offices for the significant effort they put into their carbon footprint reporting, providing us with a clear picture of where we stand and what needs to be improved.
