Bertling Logistics receives EcoVadis Bronze Medal for 2026
Bertling Logistics is pleased to announce that it has been ranked with the EcoVadis Bronze Medal in recognition of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. The latest assessment reflects Bertling's continued progress in strengthening its environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance across its global operations.
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of business sustainability ratings, assessing companies across four key themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment enables organisations to benchmark their sustainability performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Sustainability remains a strategic focus
This year's assessment once again demonstrates Bertling's strong sustainability performance, particularly in environmental management, where the company continues to rank among the leading performers within the logistics industry. This recognition reflects the effectiveness of Bertling's long-term Sustainability & CSR Programme and its ongoing commitment to reducing environmental impacts while supporting customers with more sustainable logistics solutions.
Since joining the EcoVadis platform in 2019, Bertling has continuously strengthened its sustainability framework through enhanced governance, improved reporting, global environmental initiatives and the implementation of measurable ESG objectives. These efforts form part of the company's wider "Road to Zero" strategy, which aims to reduce corporate emissions, increase transparency and support the decarbonisation of global supply chains.
Continuous improvement is key
While the Bronze Medal represents an important achievement, Bertling views the assessment as another milestone in its continuous improvement journey. The detailed EcoVadis scorecard provides valuable recommendations that will be integrated into the company's sustainability roadmap over the coming months. Current focus areas include further strengthening environmental management processes, enhancing sustainable procurement practices, expanding ESG data collection and reporting, and implementing additional initiatives that will contribute to an even stronger EcoVadis performance in future assessments.
