Hi! My name is Nurgul and I have been working at Bertling since 2006. I started my career as an Administrator on the TCO project in Tengiz, while simultaneously gaining experience in HR and Accounting. Over time, I transitioned into logistics and progressively worked as a coordinator for rail, road, and air transportation.
Throughout the years, I have gained hands-on experience in managing complex and non-standard transport scenarios, including the handling of dangerous goods and oversized cargo at Atyrau Airport. The pandemic, political conflicts, and changes in global logistics required rapid adaptation to new routes, tariffs, and customs regulations.
Currently, my primary area of responsibility is air freight for TCO: cargo acceptance, customs clearance, and arranging local delivery to Tengiz. I coordinate interaction between the client, warehouse, broker, and customs authorities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and internal company standards.
I work with both scheduled and charter flights, including oversized and urgent shipments (hand carry, hotshot).
One of the most interesting projects was organizing a special 98-seat charter flight with a total volume of 45,146 kg during a major plant turnaround. For the local delivery, more than 10 full-load trucks were involved, which allowed us to complete the shipment without delays.
Looking back, I can say that sharing my knowledge means not only supporting my colleagues but also strengthening my own professional position. Transferring experience to new employees helps them adapt more quickly, understand logistics processes, transport operations, route planning, and supply chain management. This exchange of experience increases the overall efficiency of the team.
For me, logistics is about responsibility for results, flexibility in decision-making, and continuous professional development. My goal is not only to manage processes effectively but also to propose solutions that enhance business resilience and efficiency.
