Throughout December, Bertling colleagues around the world came together under our monthly KPI theme, “It’s all about Charity & Volunteering,” to support meaningful initiatives in their local communities. From hands-on volunteering to financial donations and awareness-driven activities, these efforts reflect our shared commitment to social responsibility and making a positive impact beyond our core business.
In Houston, colleagues supported Kids Meals Inc. by donating food items and hosting a packing event where 300 meals were prepared and delivered to preschool-aged children facing food insecurity.
Our Hamburg and international teams spent a joyful day volunteering at Die ARCHE Kinderstiftung, helping create a festive Christmas celebration for children and families through games, crafts, food, and activities.
In the UK, teams showed strong engagement by combining festive initiatives with charitable giving. Colleagues in Middlesbrough and Aberdeen participated in Christmas Jumper Day while donating to organizations supporting children’s welfare, emergency medical services, and local food banks. Meanwhile, our London (Harrow) team joined The Original Giving Tree initiative, collecting toys for children fleeing domestic abuse.
Our Gothenburg team supported multiple causes, including organizations focused on protecting children from gang criminality, preserving biodiversity, and providing Christmas gifts to children in vulnerable situations through Stadsmissionen. In Spain, colleagues contributed to Norte Joven, supporting social and labor integration through solidarity breakfasts and matched donations.
In Atyrau, Kazakhstan, Bertling Kazakh Logistics LLP proudly supported a large-scale charity event raising 15,000,000 KZT for children with disabilities. The funds will help provide specialized mobility equipment, improving quality of life for children in the region.
