The end of the year and the start of the New Year is one of the most long-awaited holidays for children not only in Kazakhstan but around the world. Therefore, our team from Bertling Logistics Kazakhstan (BKL) visited the regional family-type Children's Village and Youth House Shanyrak to share their best wishes and to distribute some nice surprises for the children for a happy start to 2023.
BKL has been collaborating with the Children’s Center for years and has donated goods of many kinds to support the important mission of the Center.
For our visit, the children and their teachers prepared a performance for us and sang, danced, and participated in various contests and games. We could not resist and we joined them in singing and dancing. Feelings overwhelmed all of us and we had an enjoyable time.
Later, the children were presented with educational, interactive games: chess, gero scooters, table football, monopoly, drawing kits, and many other gifts. The faces of the children showed joy and happiness, which was heart-warming.
At the end of the event, we congratulated the teachers and their Head of the Center, Gulsara Amangalievna, on their important work and wished them all the best for the coming year. Ms. Amangalievna expressed her deep gratitude for our active participation and support of the foundation and the children. She also thanked us for organizing a trip to Kokshetau in the winter holidays for the children.

About Shanyrak
Children's Village and Youth House Shanyrak is placed nearby Atyrau in the new complex of cottages. There are about 60 orphans and children left without parental care, from the age 3 till 17. Children live there together with their Mothers - educators. Each Mother is looking after 8-9 children. Mothers take care of health and hygiene, teach the necessary skills, help with homework. Bertling became a sponsor of Shanyrak in 2019. Since then, we have been actively participating in the life of the village, congratulating on the holidays and organizing children's holidays in summer and winter camps. Particular attention was paid during Covid-19, when we supplied Shanyrak with sanitizers, masks, remote thermometers and other necessary equipment.
