This year's Australian National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June 2025) theme, “Bridging Now to Next,” is a call to action to reflect on the past, engage with the present, and build a better future through unity, respect, and inclusion.
The theme speaks directly to the continued work needed in closing the gap, acknowledging truths, and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions. It’s about progress - not platitudes and the understanding that words must be followed by sustained action.
Our Commitment at Bertling Logistics
In 2025, we reaffirm our commitment to Indigenous engagement, particularly through our Clemenger Bertling Projects Team in Australia. We invite all colleagues to join us in recognising this important week and taking part in national and local initiatives.
As part of our Local Content Commitment across the countries we operate in, we are preparing new corporate guidance on Indigenous Awareness - to be published on our intranet soon. This guidance reflects our belief that respectful local engagement is not only good practice but the right thing to do.
We recently shared our commitment to reconciliation in a presentation to Chevron in Australia, reinforcing our intent to build bridges that last.
