Bertling Compliance Day 2025 – Standing Together for Integrity

Every year on 9 December, we join the global community in recognizing International Anti-Corruption Day. This year, the campaign builds on the momentum of 2024’s focus on “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption,” highlighting how the next generation will shape a future grounded in integrity, transparency, and responsible leadership.

In line with this global movement, all Bertling offices worldwide are taking part in our annual Bertling Compliance Day.

To mark the occasion, our team is encouraged to join an important internal session: “Anti-Corruption Day: Risks of corruption in logistics, global compliance obligations, and best practices for integrity in operations.”

The session will be led by Chris Brook, our Director of Global Risk Management & Head of Compliance and QM, who will provide insights into how corruption affects our industry and how we can work together to prevent it.

At Bertling, we believe that strong compliance is not only a responsibility—but a commitment to a fair and secure future for our people, our clients, and the global communities we serve.

Bertling is committed to ethically conducting its business, following the values and principles set out in its Values and Code of Conduct. The Values and Code encapsulate Bertling's owners', directors' and senior management's commitments to ensuring the highest standard of ethical conduct in the way Bertling conducts its business.

The core principles underpinning Bertling's Values and Code of Conduct are:

  • Respect for people
  • Preventing corruption and fraud
  • Upholding human rights
  • Promoting free competition
  • Promoting financial transparency

ESG Sustainability helpline

Bertling has also developed its ESG Sustainability Helpline, expanding its reporting scope to include wider ESG compliance topics. It is now possible to report breaches of policy or concerns relating to compliance, financial ethics, social ethics, and data protection. The helpline is a confidential channel for all companies in the F.H. Bertling Logistics Group, including its subcontractors. It allows you to raise concerns about possible violations of laws or Group Policies in the following areas:

  • Money laundering
  • Corruption
  • Foreign trade controls
  • Retaliation
  • Insider trading
  • Competition law
  • IT security
  • Data privacy
  • Threats to health, safety and environment
  • Sexual harassment or discrimination
