Bertling Logistics Colombia has achieved an important milestone by successfully transporting two 100 MVA power transformers, each weighing 84 tons, by ocean and land transport from Cartagena, Colombia, to Hillsboro, Texas, via the Port of Houston, USA.
Bertling’s scope of work included technical support for the ocean transport from Cartagena to Houston and land transport to the delivery site, including visits to the delivery site for a technical review of the offloading area.

Cargo: Two 100 MVA power transformers, each weighing 84 tons. Including accessories, the total volume and weight were 525 CBM and 219.82 tons.

A key part of the operation was the land transport and safe offloading in the storage area. Bertling provided the required technical support and carried out a review of the delivery site and offloading area.
