As part of a power generation project in Carrington, near Manchester, Bertling arranged the transportation of power station equipment from China and Belgium to site.

The cargo included generators, transformers, flywheels and other power station equipment.
Following the initial ocean transport, the heavy and oversized units continued by coaster vessel to the UK, while the remaining cargo was discharged separately before continuing to the project site.
Behind the scenes, the move involved multi-axle modular trailers, permits and police escorts, vessel stevedoring and crane hire, coordinated across several locations. With a tight delivery window before the canal closed for scheduled lock maintenance, careful planning and coordination were essential.
The heaviest unit weighed 221.54 metric tonnes and measured 10.74 × 4.98 × 4.18 metres.
