We want to highlight an urgent air charter shipment performed by Bertling teams across South Africa,The USA and Germany – moving equipment from Johannesburg to Paramaribo, Suriname, via Miami.
The cargo consisted of belt linear screens, which are primarily used in slurry processing to separate coarse or unwanted material. The total shipment volume was 2.02 CBM, with the largest piece measuring 184 x 24 x 28 inches and the heaviest item weighing 1,063 lbs.Our scope included full door-to-port handling, technical loading, and lashing. The request came in after hours just before a weekend, and with a potential plant shutdown looming, fast execution was essential.
