Can you take us through your journey at Bertling Logistics, how did you start, and what key moments shaped your career here?
Since joining Bertling Logistics in 2016 as an Operations Manager in Shanghai, I have seen my career accelerating. Bringing valuable experience from leading logistics companies, I quickly became an integral part of our operations team.
Starting with hands-on project execution, I played a key role in delivering complex logistics solutions. Over time, my responsibilities expanded - transitioning from managing individual projects to overseeing broader operational activities and leading teams.
Along the way, I contributed to the successful delivery of major international chemical projects and large-scale energy and industrial developments. These projects demanded precision, adaptability, and close coordination across multiple regions.
Through this journey, I built strong partnerships with Bertling’s global offices and developed a deep understanding of the company’s high standards in project execution.
What would you say is your area of special expertise and, and how did you develop that knowledge over time?
With a strong specialization in project logistics and multimodal transportation, I have developed deep expertise in handling complex and oversized cargo - where no two projects are ever the same. I would describe my key strengths in managing the full project lifecycle:
- Strategic planning and budgeting
- Coordinating international stakeholders
- Executing operations under challenging conditions
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Combining in-depth knowledge of the Chinese logistics landscape with global project experience, my team and I consistently deliver solutions that balance cost efficiency with exceptional service quality.
What helps is my ability to stay calm under pressure - navigating uncertainty while keeping projects on track.

Among various achievements, delivering high-profile projects under tight timelines stands out as a defining highlight. Seeing these complex operations completed safely and successfully is not just a professional accomplishment - it’s a testament to teamwork and shared commitment across borders. These experiences have shaped how I lead today. They’ve strengthened my ability to adapt, make decisions quickly, and support my team in challenging environments.”
