Looking after orphans in Kazakhstan

Bertling Logistics in Kazakhstan has supported Shanyrak Children’s Village, an organisation looking after orphans in Kazakhstan, for some years already.

In 2019 Bertling sponsored a summer camp for 62 orphans and made their dream come true: They went to Almaty’s Tau Kuni camp for vacation, which is located in a beautiful setting near Medeu, where the children had a great time. Here are some pictures:

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic it was not possible to organize summer holidays for the children this year. Instead, the management of Bertling Logistics Kazakhstan visited the Shanyrak children's village and provided the orphans with laptops to support their online learning. Here is a picture when we handed the laptops over to them:

Bertling also supports the schoolchildren and students during their education and studies by offering hands-on insight into the logistics world and work. Five full-time students from Safi Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas have been already employed by Bertling Logistics in Kazakhstan.
